Back to school
After a summer of fun at home or abroad it’s time for schools to open their doors and energetic kids and weary parents to get back into a routine. We hope you’ve had an awesome summer, both on or off the water and have compiled our must-have items to get you school and work ready!
Make sure you’ve got good quality water bottles for yours and your kids lunch bags or sports bag. The CamelBak Eddy bottles are great for those on the go with a sippy straw or the CamelBak Chute is perfect for those doing sports as you get a good glug of liquid for the ultimate hydration on the go.
A practical, durable bag is essential for lugging books, computers or items needed for a day out and about. The OverBoard Waterproof bags are a well-made, durable, all-round bag and with high visibility options available - great for being seen on darker winter evenings, especially if bicycling or training it to school or the office.
It’s back to black for most kids at school, the Skipper deck shoe is a comfortable, durable shoe that is stylish and practical in school and dockside. Parents also need foot friendly shoes for running around during school drop off and pick up & heading to work. The comfortable mens Chatham Marine, Pitt Leather Boat Shoe, Made in Britain, are a brilliant all-round shoe to take you between home and the office.
Sports kits are a go, as teams gather on field and in the pool. A good quality goggle can really help your child’s swimming experience. The View 2000N goggles provide a wider fit over the eye socket, this goggle provides a neat, narrow fit and are noted as being really comfortable in the pool. Or there’s mirrored goggles for those into swim racing and swim events, great for reducing glare on the water and they look super stylish too.
Free-time = Funtime
Yes with seven days a week, it’s not all about school, the evenings and weekends are for fun and a stand-up paddle board is a great way to enjoy time out on the water. Now on sale, pack an inflatable paddleboard and head to your nearest, beach, marina, lake or river. In cooler months simply layer up or wear a wetsuit and stay warm on the water all day long.
Good luck to all those starting school!
